Six Word Fridays: late blooming

Dad's Christmas cactus usually blooms in 

December. I arrived back home from 

Europe in mid January... and you

can imagine how surprised I was

that my Christmas cactus was late

in blooming! It had waited until

I got back home to burst

out in the most beautiful vivid

pink blooms I had ever seen!

Must have been dad behind the

scenes... welcoming his daughter safely home!

I had a glimpse into heaven 

that day, feeling all dad's love

as he keeps watch over me!
