Mile Marker 193; Dozing, Overcorrect, Skid,
Spin, Slam, Smash, Bump...Bump....Bump.
Help from Samaritans. Sirens. I'm Ok!
Car damaged and needs a tow.
Lesson learned. Never, ever drive when
sleepy! End result could have been
much, much worse. On that day
the Angels were watching over me!
Oh My Goodness, Carol!!!
ReplyDeleteI am thanking God that bump, bump, bump was not flip, flip, flip!
Was this a recent event?
xx, m & jb
It was a few years ago. And yes, I am very lucky. I had several things against me. One, I could have had a head on collision. Two, the post I ran into could have come through the window and killed me. Three, the car could have flipped. Four. I landed on the railroad tracks and was very lucky that a train was not on there at the same time. The police officers told me the last accident they went to was the same thing. The post came through the man's window and killed him. I have no doubt the angels were attending me that day! I walked away without a single injury.
DeleteYikes! Glad you had someone watching over you! How scary!
ReplyDeleteEek. That is, perhaps, the worst kind of bump!
ReplyDeleteDramatic post, excellent point.
ReplyDeleteOMG - I am glad that you had your angels watching over you. That could have ended much, much worse.

ReplyDeleteHubby had one of those years ago after fishing all night. He was in the hospital for a week. So glad you weren't seriously hurt. What some will do for a six word post..hahaha just kidding you. :)
ReplyDeleteyes they were and I'm so glad.
ReplyDeleteHaha, you make me laugh Mom. Not about what happened, but that you just happened to have your trusty camera and had the presence of mind to take pictures of the ordeal. So now you will have a camera on your headstone to go with the vacuum!
