Thankful Notes

Here's a Thanksgiving tradition we do at our house. I have slips of paper and pens set out for family members to write down something they are thankful for. When we are eating pie, we  take turns sharing our thankful notes. It helps us more fully recognize and count our blessings and prepares our hearts for the Christmas season.

What are you thankful for?

Writing prompts:  #2 - Share what you are thankful for
#3 - Tell us about a favorite Thanksgiving tradition

  1. That is an awesome list! You have so much to be thankful for. I need to remember to be more thankful for what I have every day, not just on Thanksgiving. Thank you so much for sharing!

  4. that is a great idea for Thanksgiving. Isn't it amazing that when we start counting our blessings we become more grateful and more aware of what we've been given. I just spent a little more than an hour going through my "gratitude posts" that I did a couple of years ago. It made me realize just how good things are. I've started a gratitude journal too.
